W.G.1.1
Parameters of Experimental Fatigue Analyses
Defines the structure for collecting and organizing fatigue data. Various testing methods are evaluated, and existing database systems are compared to determine the best approach.
W.G.1.2
Data Test Record
Establishes the final format for data entry, processing, and post-processing. A technical report describing the finalized format will be published.
W.G.1.3
Interface for Data Set Recording
Selects or develops an interface for accessing and processing fatigue data. Existing systems will be reviewed, and grants may be sought for improvements or new solutions.
W.G.1.4
Data Processing Routines
Develops procedures for transforming collected data into benchmark sets, analyzing different benchmark types, and preparing for large-scale data analysis and AI applications.
Activities
The WG will hold bi-annual meetings to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless data collection. It will also organize workshops to train users on data recording and processing methodologies. A dedicated online platform will be developed to facilitate collaboration, and a Data Committee will be established to oversee best practices.
Deliverables
WG1 will publish a technical report on data collection structures within Year 1. It will also release a manual on converting experimental data into benchmark-ready formats and contribute to open-access research papers on fatigue data standardization.
