First call for applications for Short-Term Scientific Missions
The call is open to all FABER members, but younger members are generally the primary target group.

You can apply simply through the e-cost system: https://e-services.cost.eu/activity/grants/add?type=STSM.

Note that this first call is open for applications till March 11, 2025 and the stay should end by the end of summer to be sure we can process all necessary documents before the first FABER year ends.

If you consider this, please check the closer conditions at https://www.cost.eu/cost-actions-event/action-networking-tools/.

We assume about 6 STSM could be funded from the budget this year. When writing the proposal, consider how it fits into the FABER scheme and which topics you’ll help to push forward. Your stay outside should be beneficial for FABER.

Short-Term Scientific Missions:
• Support capacity building and transfer of knowledge through bilateral/multilateral collaborations;
• Support specific / general topic that can help achieving the Action MoU objectives and deliverables (research coordination);
• Are very flexible and inclusive networking activities crucial to establish new collaborations or reinforce existing collaborations across disciplines and different sectors (e.g., academia and industry / SMEs) with possible impact on career development;
• Outcomes (e.g. spin-off publications and (funded) projects) contribute to the visibility and impact of the COST
Actions, encouraging other researchers to join.
